The Chinese Chamber of Commerce’s Centennial Book, Celebrating 100 Years has been well received since its release on June 22.  It features the history of the Chamber, officers, personalities as well as excerpts from the Chamber’s Fiftieth year Golden Jubilee Book on the Chinese in Hawaii and a tribute to the 64 years of the Narcissus Festival. Edited by Vernon W.C. Ching and ACUW’s May Lee Chung, it includes articles on ACUW members Betty Wo, Frances Goo, Elvira Lo, (and our friends Blossom Tyau and Dr. Lawrence Tseu) among the many outstanding people in the community.  ACUW supported it with an advertisement.

It is on sale at the CCCH Office at 8 S. King Street and is 271 pages, hard back, in full color, and worth the cost of $50.00. For more information or to purchase, you may contact May Lee Chung (my phone and email are in the ACUW Directory.)
